when the odds are against them. They’re smart, strategic
and innovative – and much of what they do is intangible.
For more than seven years, we’ve been telling their story.
Polk Bros. Foundation seeks to improve the quality of
life for the people of Chicago. In 2007, they were also
improving the quality of their own work. We conceived
and designed an annual report – Home. Work. – that
reflected both aspects of the year’s achievements.
In 2003, Grand Victoria Foundation set out to build a
strong network of partners across Illinois. This report
told the story of their ambitious collaboration with other
foundations to improve early childhood care, education,
workforce development, and land use and protection.
Spencer seeks to improve education around the world by
funding educational research and initiatives. We helped
develop an identity, interior space, brochures and other
print collateral to reflect that mission.
